My Winter 2001-2002 Modifications:
After the piss poor performance I had at the track with my previous 396ci setup I decided to rebuild the motor to get the oiling problem settled, switch to a solid roller cam setup, port the heads, install a PA K-Member and the 1998+ brake system I have had for a while.
Anyway, Greg at Greg's Automotive (815-690-1234) has spent a significant amount of time on the heads/intake and motor all at a very reasonable price. He has worked on stock LT1 casting, Canfields (LT1 and ford), Dart, etc.

Note: if you live in a hot summer/snow in winter location and drive the car year
round be ready to snap a few bolts off and have to do some creative
cutting/grinding to get things disassembled. Notice the many pictures
linked to from this page where there is a rubber mallet and a MAP torch in the
background (maybe even a sawzall) :-)

Note: it sure is easy installing hooker long tube headers now with this tubular
K-Member and the motor installed (not pictured in this set)! They just
slide in place. Before with the stock crossmember I had to remove the
motor mount bolts and raise the motor up on each side to get them in.
